Why is Class C so popular?

The class A and B IP Addresses are assigned to enterprise-level systems & devices. While class Cs are the most popular for feasibility, their usage is more among, almost, everyone, from small organizations to cloud-based service providers. ISPs (Internet Service Providers) purchase bundles of class C IP Addresses which they then assign to their clients. They offer dynamic (shared) IP addresses to their clients since they're cheaper and widely approved. Another reasons for this is to perform IP Address sharing. Which means that when a user isn't using an IP Address or there is no traffic to a website, their IP addresses are assigned to different customers and websites.

Class C Dynamic IP addresses are cheap and sensible for web sites and clients who aren't using the internet like a baby listening to poems on youtube 👶. When you have ten beings sharing a Wi-Fi network in your workspace, you will be assigned a dynamic IP Address to work with, and whilst you aren't using the internet, your address can be assigned to some other client who just logged.

When you or your mates access the internet again, a one of a kind IP Address will be re-assigned to you. This IP might be assigned from the bundles of refined Class C IP Addresses that your ISP has purchased. You might wonder "How does this ISP guy has so many IPs?" Well, it's no coincedence that a guy who's bought tons of Class C IP Addresses is swapping his/her clients between them.

ISPs foresee this happening and, when the website gets blacklisted, re-assign a new IP Address to the websites that had been sharing the identical dynamic Class C IP Address.
